Oh my Gosh! This mask can really freak a person out. I was standing in the kitchen and Emily thought she would be funny and come out of the garage with it on and she quietly said, "Mom." I turned to look at her and I jumped and screamed so loud-I was shaking after she did this. Then just a few minutes later Christian put it on and he was in his bathroom and came out into the hall-I was walking down the hall and I jumped and freaked out again! So I had to get a picture of him in it just to show you all how real it looks.
This is the only picture I got of Christian in his costume. He really looked good. This is the "loot" that was collected just by Christian. Emily had about this much too. We do a little game with the candy every year. You have to put all the candy you don't want in a gallon ziplock bag and fill it as full and tight as you can with candy. Then you put it on the porch with a note to the "Goblin" and the next morning you will receive a gift in place of the candy. The kids have always loved doing this. This is our last year with Emily halfway believing in it-but she and Christian both did it and they got $10 itunes cards in exchange. Anything to get all that candy out of our home.
These are two of Em's good friends who live on our street. Natalee Goeken and Camie Mendoza.
These are neighborhood girls too. Three of them are the daughters of my friend Leslie who is in YW's with me. Her girls are Hailey, Nicole and Savanah. They sure did have fun Halloween night.
