It's All About ME!

This is big! It really is...for me adding a picture of me to a website for others to view is huge!!! I can't believe I'm doing this. I had to talk about our NYC trip though and really want everyone to know what an awesome trip it was. We couldn't have asked for better company, weather, accommodations, food, friends and fun! I will have to say it was even better than the trip we took last year to L.A. to see Wicked...but okay, I still think that our trip to Australia 7 years ago takes the cake! I thoroughly enjoyed myself in NYC as did Ashleigh. We looked forward to this trip for several months and then it was time! We shopped for days to find just the right clothes, making sure we had everything we needed to stay warm and feel comfy. We succeeded! Every little detail of this trip was fabulous! Just for a quick review-we have been a part of a fab. group of friends for many years from Las Vegas. These girls were in a girl scout troop together and went to school together for years. Then many of them got separated when it came time to go to Jr. High and a few of us have moved away. But we decided to make it a point to get and keep these girls together as long as they wanted to-who wouldn't want to see each other when it involves trips to L.A. and NYC to see broadway plays? I didn't think I would ever see any other broadway play that was as good as "Wicked." I can't believe that in a year's time I was given the opportunity to see 3 Broadway Plays! and travel with in such company too! So, our trip in January of 2008 included: seeing Hairspray, Mary Poppins, The Empire State Bldg., Macy's-largest store in the world-8 stories tall- shopping, bus tour of the city, Grand Central Station, skating at Rockefeller Center, The Today Show, Fox Network's morning show, eating at the most delicious Italian restaurant ever, Serendipity's frozen hot chocolate, FAO Shwartz, American Girl store, Sax, Bloomies, and over 350 photos. What more could a girl want in life? not much-loved, loved, loved our time there. Then it was time to fly home and face the reality of life. Back to work, school, laundry and car pools. Couldn't it last forever? I guess it wouldn't have been such a treat if it did. Life really is good-
