SWEET 16. . .AND DATING

So, it's time to go to the Christmas Dance and we find out that it is GIRL'S CHOICE. What? It's a day after she turns 16 and she has to ask the guy out
aND pay for the date!!!  Something is wrong with this picture. Ok-it's your birthday, you are a good girl and we love you to death. Go ahead and make us pay out the wazooooo for the event. It was really fun for the girls and they had a really great group of girls. They all knew each other from marching band and have become good friends. I just wish they were all in our ward and/or lived at least a little closer. They are wonderful though and when Ash is  happy-I can't complain. So, here are a few pictures of the night. They went ice skating on Friday night and then came over to our house for hot chocolate and made gingerbread  houses. They didn't even turn out to be even close to what they were suppose to be; but it is all  in the fun. Then on Saturday night they went to Mariah's house and had dinner. Her mom made a delicious meal and I made the dessert. Of course, it had to have raspberries....Ash and I love them. We could live on them if we had to. Her date  was a friend of a friend, Justin Christensen. Don't know him and probably will never meet him again-that's ok. He was nice and they had fun together. After the dance they went back to Mariah's house and played games. Glad we got that first one over with. She looked like a princess-don't you think. Too fun and too cute.
