It's August and I can't believe that summer has come and is almost gone. It wasn't quite the "easy, breezy" summer that I thought it would be-but I am glad we have had the break and been able to get many things accomplished. We finished the yard which is a huge relief, got two floods out of the way and everything is back to normal and have been working on getting rooms organized and cleaned up.
Nef and the kids have gone to Farmington, NM for the weekend and I am here all alone. I don't mind the quiet during the days but the nights are so lonely. I am having a hard time falling asleep and end up on the computer or in my scrap room doing stuff for girls camp. I am getting a lot done; but will be glad to have them back on Sunday night. Then we're here for one day and off to camp. Then it's school, school and more school work. I think the kids will be ready for their schedules-especially Christian. He has been so bored and can't wait to start back up. He went to scout camp last week and had a great time. He came back so tan and so tired. Took him a few days to catch up on sleep and be himself. Anyone know of another camp for him? He does so much better when he's busy-kind of like his mom... We made cute journals and passport books for the girls, I'll have to make sure and post them soon. Ash leaves for band camp right after girls camp and then school starts on the 25th of August. Haven't really had anything worth blogging about happen; but I hate to get behind. I will post more when the kids get back and we back from camp. Emily gets to go this year and it will be fun to have all the girls go together. I am actually really looking forward to going and being with the girls, getting to know them better and enjoying a relaxing cabin at Bear Lake. More to come soon-I can't believe I don't have any pictures to include either.
