LIFE'S ON . . .SUMMER'S OFF!!!

I fell like I was just saying the opposite of that a few weeks ago. Where did our summer go? It is so nice to be back in the routine of things and on a schedule. Yes, that can be a harry, carry schedule sometimes especially with Nef traveling so much now to ID, but we are getting it down and it is awesome.

Here are a few pic's of the first day of school. I am so sad that this is the last year I can take pictures with Emily's teacher. I have done it the first day of school and the last day of school for each child for every grade they have been in elementary school. We won't have any more kids in elem. after this year-it was a sad day. For mom at least-I know the kids love it but I am feeling really old and like I have more and more to do every day and every month and every year. Anyone else out there relate??? We know have one in High School-Go Davis Darts!!! {whoever came up with that name had a fever the day he decided to name them the Darts!*@# One in Jr. High-I like the name Kaysville Knights. Then we have one in Elementary School-Snow Horse, where I teach in the computer lab also. That too is a story in and of itself-we'll have to share one day.

Aren't they all grown up?

Ash has gotten so tall and so mature looking. Wait till you see the family pics we took-WOW she is really grown up. I just want her to look like this:

The whole sixth grade is carrying this theme around this year-iwave, ibehave, irock, etc... It is a cute theme and the kids are taking to it well. The group seems to be doing well and adjusting to such a different style. Getting ready for Jr. High is tough!
We love Mrs. Klein-she is new to the school this year, came from Stewart Elem. in our district and just finished her Master's Degree. The kids love her and she is well-rounded and seems to know her "stuff."
