Daddy's Little Princess'

Look at these cute girls with their dad. They adore their father and all that he does for them. It sure is nice to know that he is there for them and will always be ready with a good joke or story to make them laugh. He is often telling them stories about nothing - but they love to hear made up stories where he acts like he is crazy and then they laugh their hearts out. The night before school started this year he gave each one of the children a Father's Blessing-which is basically a sweet way to get them ready for a new year at school and help them know that they will have the courage, strength and faith to do well in school if they but put forth the effort and truly strive to be the best they can be! They all do well; but as the years go by and all grades become tough-it has been getting a little bit harder. Even though they have all for the most part retained information easily, not had to study too much for tests, etc they are now having to learn the hard way and do what their mom and dad did all of their lives- STUDY!!! Novel idea, eh? So foreign to Nef and I not to have to study for everything. They go in and take a test and have literally spent no-none-never any time studying and pull out A's. Emily really surprises us with her spelling words. She can look at her words at the beginning of the week and never look at them again and pass with a 100% plus get all the bonus words right-it happened today!!! Love those kids. Love that they love school. Love that they have the desire to try hard and do their best. Love that they know what it takes to succeed and hope that it lasts for a LIFETIME!

LIFE IS GOOD!!!
