We went to Cracker Barrel for dinner before. Can't go wrong there-good home cookin' all the time. Girls were so excited. Emily is easy to please and basically loves life. Can't blame her-she does have a good one! She counted down for this event for so long. She would come to me and say, "Mom, only 27 more days." "Mom, guess what? only 15 more days." Sometimes I had to say-"Until what?" She would get a silly look on her face and just say-"You know what!" Then I got the hang of it and knew it was nothing other than a concert she was thrilled about. She would even call me from the camp she was at and loving every minute of - to let me know there were only 6 days left, 4 days left, etc! We did have floor seats for the event and that made going even sweeter!!! We just happened to get floor seats by plugging in info on the computer the minute the tickets went on sale. Lucky us!!! Ash ended up asking two of her friends from Bountiful to come with her, so Lisa-Nef's sister, and I took her seats which were not bad. We kind of went back and forth between the floor and our seats just for fun. Had a great time-girls got a t-shirt and 8x10 pictures of David Archuletta. Ashleigh thanks Aunt Lisa for the 'early' birthday gift!!! It was a great concert and lasted over 3 hours. Fun to see all the contestants again-up close and personal.
Emily, Ashleigh, Kathy and Aunt Lisa just before the concert started and we weren't hot and sweaty yet.
Seyesha did a fabulous job-she really has come a long way and has advanced in her singing talents-I enjoyed hearing her-which I wouldn't have said at the beginning.
David Cook ROCKS! I think he is the best out of all of them-I loved it when he sang Baba O'Reiley by The Who! He is an awesome rocker!!!
Nobody even came close to David A. here in UTAH-the crowd went wild and didn't even stop while he was singing. Sometimes we couldn't hear a word he was saying because the crowd was so crazy and LOUD. He was great and was of course his usual self, had tears a few times, very humble and sweet. Ash and her friends yelled out many times: "We love you, David." I just had to laugh...
