Can't believe how much work goes into a float. These people have dedicated a lot of time for a parade. I sure hope they got to use them more than once. Here's just a few of the fun ones from the two parades we went to this week. Emily is so cute and absolutely loves, loves, loves parades. The thrill of candy being thrown, clapping for the US armed services and flags going by, don't know-but it is so fun to watch her get totally encapsulated with each parade. She doesn't want to miss ONE for anything. She got up at 6:30 a.m. on the 24th to go to downtown SLC and watch the BIG parade. I optioned out and watched it on TV. Got to see Ashleigh on TV-not a great shot; but could tell it was her.

The Prophet was even in the parade. Nef said he never did turn and look at their side and that was the best he could get-
For the Bountiful parade they had a fun carnival for kids in the park across the street before. Food, games, rides and even face painting. This is a new friend of Emily's, Natalie. She moved in across the street and they have gotten along quite well and have played a lot this summer. Thought it would help Emily out taking a friend with her. Christian has had Logan-his cousin-with him all week and that has made it nice for the rest of us-he wasn't bored for a minute! Thanks so much Logan-made our lives easier for a few more days of summer!!!!! Christian likes to being doing something all the time and is extremely bored if we aren't entertaining him day after day after day.
