Movie Trailers

I enjoyed my morning with Emily today. Her teacher, Mrs. Bowcutt, had the parents come and watch the cute movie trailers that she made for their personal narratives. It was really a clever idea. So, we didn't get to read their whole story-narrative but it was just like a little blurb about their narrative and each one of them gave their reason why you should read their story. So it was set up on dvd and then we got to spend a few minutes at their desk and read the story that they wrote. Emily has several little stories in hers and they were good. I'm going to include several pictures here so you can see them all.

This is a picture that the teacher insisted she take. Lovely!

This is the sign above her classroom door as we went in to see the trailors.

Look at the entrance Mrs. Bowcutt created-isn't that too fun! It was a fun way to let the kids know they were important and it was their day to shine!!!!

The Mrs. Mary Moffett [the Music Teacher at Snow Horse Elem.] and her daughter, Cambrea. I have really enjoyed getting to know her this year. Since we are both prep teachers we get to eat lunch together every day. She is such a funny lady. She is quite the rule setter and follower. I think she is awesome! We always get a good laugh with Mary around- she keeps us entertained with her stories at lunch.
