Piano Recital

Ashleigh, Christian and Emily had their piano recital today at a church close by. Their teacher-Shannon Edelman-who used to be in our ward before the split, had not done an "official" recital before and this was fun. It was their first year taking with her and we could really tell improvement. Especially with Christian and Emily who have been beginners for quite some time. Ashleigh played some hard songs-one of them was over 5 pages long. She was suppose to play a duet with another student but at the last minute the teacher took that away and said they needed more practice, so they would do it at Christmas. Ash probably won't continue piano lessons in the fall. We'll have to see how her schedule goes-she will be in High School finally! {as she puts it!} and will have many different things taking up her time. It was fun and they all did well. I guess all the mumbling and grumbling throughout the year and making them practice pays off in the end and when I hear them all play-life is good!

Ash played a song with 3 different movements called: Sonatina.

This is their piano teacher: Shannon Edelman. They all three enjoy taking lessons from her and even more enjoy playing with her three kids. She has been great with C and E especially since they are the ones who fight it the most.
