Can't believe that these are actually blooming and looking so good. Thought I better grab a picture of them before they are gone. I love these flowers but they don't last long enough for me. I want them to stay in bloom all summer long. I guess I'll just have to say that I'm so glad the planting of these in the fall worked-Nef really does try sooooo very hard. I went and got all the bulbs and asked that they be put all over the flower beds along the front of the house. So he did that-with Christian. Christian really enjoyed helping and now sees the fruit of their labors and loves it. Just one small catch-when he put them SO close together he forgot to see where he was planting them so they would be aesthetically pleasing to the eye {that's a Kathy thing for sure} and then when he ran out-he conveniently forgot to tell me that we needed more to fill the whole bed! Hum-they do look okay-but then they just stop-I might as well put a sign in the yard saying, "Donations for more tulips would be appreciated, ran out!" Sorry Nef but you knew that would be coming. I can truly say though that life is good when you have tulips of all colors growing out in front of your house. We have got to make it down to Temple Square this weekend and take pictures in the tulips there. They are always gorgeous!!!
Oops! We forgot to plant the tulips all the way to the END of the flower bed-there's always next year!
