Not that we haven't had fun-but it has been non-stop. We got out of school on June 1st. The next week we had dentist, ortho, doctor, PT, and a few more appts to fit in. Then I said I would help with the overhauling of the current technology dept.'s curriculum guide/teacher's manual and the first meeting was that week. Then we had "homework" assignments that are to be completed by June 26th and I just hope that I get them done! Kelly-my sister-came down one day and we spent about 8 hours looking for a house for her family. They are suppose to be moving up north of SLC this summer. Brian took a job in Ogden and commuting back and forth to American Fork won't be fun for too long. It is hard looking and finding something when there are so many houses on the market-lots of short sales and foreclosures or houses going to auction because of the economy. It is really sad to see; but in the same light- good for them. I hope they find something close. The kids will love that.
The last few days of school was fun. On the last day a few of Emily's friends came up early in the morning-at 7:30 a.m. and we started to decorate Mrs. Bowcutt's classroom. To our surprise she walked in and ruined it all for us!! {smile} We put posters up along with balloons and crete paper. I even talked Ashleigh into coming and then I ran her over to her Jr. High so she could make sure she was there for the year book signing day. We will miss her. It was a great year. The kids all brought breakfast items and then went outside for a few fun photos and a 5th grade kickball game. This year really did go by fast. Here are a few fun photos from that day.
